About 22,000 moose make their home in New Brunswick. There was a 35% increase in the number of moose tagged last year by hunters in the southern region while our south-eastern region has enjoyed Low Hunting Pressure over the past 15 years.

Kent County hasn't changed much in the past few hundred years and hunting skills are still passed down from generation to generation. Glen can "read the land and he knows the river"

Many species of wildlife make their home in this "not so well known part" of New Brunswick including some very big old moose.

Moose Hunting with UPRIVER OUTFITTERS

Moose Hunting Season opens in September for 3 days only (Sept. 27- 29) and only a limited number of licences are issued each year. Non-Resident Moose Hunters must be accompanied by a New Brunswick Licenced Guide

You can only hunt in one zone and bag just one moose. UPRIVER OUTFITTERS is within 15 miles of New Brunswick Wildlife Management Zones 13, 14 and 19.
